That Crazy Frog!
It’s official, the UK has gone Crazy Frog mad. Even more so than it already was, in fact.
Case in point, the Crazy Frog Axel F single looks destined to go straight into the charts at number 1 this Sunday. It is even looking like it will outsell Coldplay’s comeback single by 4 to 1, which is their first in 2 years. This fact at the time of publishing this blog is currently in the news on CNN, BBC, ITV, Sky, The Telegraph, The Guardian and the Times plus many more news sites. All online versions of course.
So what’s in it for us affiliates?
Well of course, Jamster have an affiliate program for their ringtones, wallpapers etc. and we can make money from the current hype. So much so that a number of Crazy Frog mini sites have been springing up since late last year. Of course I must hold my hand up and admit that I too have a Crazy Frog site that is suddenly showing a huge increase in visitors.
The moral of the story? Put aside personal feelings (that frog is annoying) and try to jump on current trends and events that are getting a lot of media coverage. Big Brother 6 anyone?

You know how I feel about that frog. If it beats coldplay to #1 I’ll flip.
Don’t blame you for earning from the craze though!

I don’t think it’s a question of *if* it beats Coldlay rather than *when* it beats Coldplay!!
