Google AdWords Optimisation part 2
At the beginning of May I wrote about the Google AdWords Optimisation service that I had been offered free from my Google account manager.
Well, the campaigns have now been optimised and I have accepted all of the changes that were proposed. The interesting thing is that in the first full day of the changes being active my CTR increased by 4%. Not only that but I am now generating double sales from some of the merchants that I was targetting previously.
So all in all, a service well worth using from Google.

That’s really interesting news. On your level of spend, that’s quite a huge increase.
What kind of optimisation took place then? Did the manager simply make suggestions on how you could improve thw wording of your ads / keyword selection etc? Or did they actually make new tools / features accessible to you?
Hi Richard. The suggestions were indeed all keyword related, no new tools offered. However she did a sterling job and some ad broups went from having 20 keywords to 300!
