More fun with the new house

Oh the fun of moving house....

Yesterday (Saturday) I received 2 letters from London Energy who are supplying gas to my new house.

The first said something like "thankyou for choosing LE for your gas, please find enclosed your account number etc. etc."

The second letter (dated the same as the first letter) said "You recently agreed to have your gas supplied by LE. Since then, you have told us that you do not wish to proceed with this. Whilst we are disappointed that you do not want to receive our service please regard this letter as confirmation that we will terminate your contract".

!!!!!!!!!!

Not once did I ever ask to cancel the contract! And of course the bloomin' call centre was closed until Monday so let's hope I can call them and sort out this cock-up tomorrow.
