Well after almost 5 weeks without broadband I'm finally back online! Sure I've had to change provider, have 2 BT engineer visits, countless technical support calls and have had to buy a wi-fi router but I don't care as I've finally rejoined the 50% of UK Internet users who use broadband. It's only 512k which is all I can get but it is soooo much better than dial-up.
So I guess that means that I'll have to start doing some work now. I must admit when I was on dial-up it was so frustrating that if it wasn't urgent then I simply left it. Only problem with that is I have a huge backlog of stuff to catch up on. So I guess it's head down and knuckle down time from now!
