A4U Annual Get2Gether this week
Well it’s that time of year again, the annual A4U Forum Affiliate Get2Gether. It starts this Thursday at 9.30am at the Kensington Roof Gardens and continues through to around 5pm. From there we move to Tiger Tiger until the early hours.
There are quite a few of us staying the Wednesday night so Matt and the A4U team have kindly organised a ’snug’ area in the Mitre, Holland Park from 5pm for an informal pre-Get2Gether Get2Gether!
It’s a testament to Matt and the Existem team and Helen from Digital Outlook that they have managed to get every single major affiliate network in the UK to contribute towards this event. Food and drink will be in abandon thanks to these guys.
This is the biggest Get2Gether to date with well over 350 people attending; affiliates, affiliate managers, agencies, networks, venture capitalists and press. A long cry from the days when a few of us affiliates would meet up in a pub with a few merchants if we were lucky. And goes to show just how far Affiliate Marketing has come in the last couple of years and how it is getting recognised as a sales channel in its own right. And although things have changed dramatically it is still an exciting and innovative industry to be in, not to mention a lot of FUN!
See you all there. Mine’s a Bacardi Breezer.
What I’m listening to right now: Mariah Carey - “The Emancipation of Mimi”
Yeah I know it’s Mariah and I have put off buying this album for weeks because of that very reason. BUT…The Neptunes, Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Jermaine Dupri feature on it. So I gave in and bought it, and am very glad I did. Some very cool tracks.
P.S. Just saw the charts and the PussyCat Dolls are number 1! Wasn’t it 4 weeks ago when I raved on about them? These girls will go far.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I am the founder of ShareMyPlaylists.com, ContentNow.co.uk and some other businesses. I thought it would be fun to blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Mariah Carey is amazingly talented. A lot of her stuff isn’t to my taste, but she definitely has the “X-factor”. I’ve never bought one of her albums, but I think I may get this one.
Not sure about the PussyCat Dolls. Catchy tunes I guess
