DGM - 2 hours for links to be made live

I wanted to promote a particular merchant on the DGM network so set about creating a new page with some sales copy and of course the DGM links.

So I wrote the copy, put the page together then went to get the DGM links. So I log in to DGM, find the merchant in question and grab those links. All well and good.

So page is finished and I upload it to my site. However when I view the uploaded page in my browser I find that none of the DGM links work. The text links go to a 404 page and the banners simply don’t display. Now I know that for some unknown bizarre reason DGM links sometimes take a “few minutes” to become live. Unfortunately in my case they took 2 hours been made live!

Now its been a while since I’ve uploaded any new DGM banners/links but I’m amazed that they still have this huge problem. DGM Pro has been live now for what? a year? When it was launched one of the main problems was that links took too long to become live. This was well documented in forums and fed back to DGM on numerous occasions. So why is it still happening? I mean *2 hours* before I can use a link/banner?!

Come on DGM, never mind the rest of the problems with DGM Pro, this is basic stuff. I can’t believe this sort of thing is still happening. Why is it every other network can give us links that work immediately? Surely not that difficult?

I have to e-mail DGM to get links active most of the time. Its mad - why on earth is it not instant?

I usually abandon those networks+ merchants who waste my time. If I fancy doing an AM for a merchant and if that takes more than 10 mins to figure out what it is then it is usually abandoned.
