Housekeeping!

I’ve been number crunching tonight and spending some time on stats analysis. Now whilst this isn’t the most exciting way to pass the time it did highlight the fact that I need to keep an eye on some of my smaller sites a bit more.

For instance I discovered that Broadband Providers generates around £2,000 a month in revenue even though it hasn’t been updated in a year! That’s purely income from natural traffic btw, I don’t do any ppc on this site at all. Who knows how well it could have been doing if I had actually spent some time on it.

So I’ve spent a couple of hours updating the site and giving it a bit of a tidy. The thing is I’ve got a few more of these low traffic sites kicking about that I’m going to take out of mothballs. So, moral of the story? Don’t spend so much time on the big stuff that you lose track of the smaller stuff.

Blimey Kieron, if you’ve missed noticing where 2k ‘free’ money a month was coming from you must be making too much :-)

Well done mate, i’m still walking round with my keyboard strapped to me trying to get my first ‘decent’ paycheck.

    Keep posting, you inspire me

I wonder how you kept the prices updated - was it set automatically for each provider?
