Technorati
I’ve been having a play around with Technorati and have to admit its quite cool. So what is it I hear you ask? Well, in their own words it’s a “real-time search engine that keeps track of what is going on in the blogosphere — the world of weblogs.”
For me the really cool feature is that I can add “tags” to my blog posts which are then picked up by Technorati and people interested in that particular topic.
For instance if I was blogging about my new Cadillac Escalade (on order!) then I would add a tag entitled “Cadillac Escalade” on the end of my blog post. This means that people who are “talking” about that particular topic at Technorati will see my tags and maybe head on over to read my post. So basically its a way of reaching a wider audience for my blog.
I’ve included a tag entitled “Affiliate Marketing” at the bottom of this post. Lets see what happens.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

I have just set up an account at Technorati, myself - and am totally hooked!
The tags are actually a great resource for related information, for both yourself and your readers. I’ve had the greatest fun checking out posts on topics that I am blogging about myself, and doing a bit of networking with those bloggers.
