Bank Holidays
Bank Holidays eh? I just can’t figure them out.
OK I expect traffic to be lower than normal due to the fact that people are off work and quite probably out and about enjoying themselves or even on holiday. And I’m right, traffic was about 25% down on a usual weekend.
But what I really can’t fathom [...]
Communication from merchants
For all you merchants/affiliate managers etc out there here is a crash course on how *not* to promote your program to affiliates.
Here is a real email I just received:
“Dear All,
New banners are available in the Affiliate windows login area for you all.
Data feeds are also available on request.
Many thanks
Ben @ TOFFS”
Well isn’t that great? Toffs [...]
Great resource for affiliates
I just have to share this with you, a very, very valuable resource.
For those of you (like me) who have to outsource work, whether it is design or coding or whatever - you will appreciate it that it can be a very fraught experience. The main problem I’ve found is finding someone to work with [...]
Web 2.0 - ???
I’m not a fan of “tech speak” or “marketing speak” or worst of all “new media speak” (vertical channels, affiliate space and all that) but over the last few months I’ve seen an increasing amount of chat and forum posts lately regarding Web 2.0. Fine. But what bugs me is when people refer to it [...]
At last…the Escalade is here!
The new ‘Lade finally arrived today and what a beauty! I’ve posted some pictures below but they really don’t do the car justice. It is everything I hoped it would be and more, a real big improvement on the last model.
Anyway, here it is!

All the modifications (to make it UK friendly) have been made and the RAC Tracker has been fitted so hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I’ll be taking it out for its maiden voyage.
To Andrew who asked what [...]
Commission Junction in the UK - Update
It seems that my post a week or so ago regarding my experiences with CJ have created a bit of interest, so I thought I would follow up with an update today.
Jonathan Forster, who is the European Development Director for CJ called me today for a chat about the points I raised. I’ve met Jonathan [...]

Who is Shak?
Do you know? Let me explain.
His name crops up every now and again in the circles that move in. I’ve seen his posts on a few forums and I’ve heard lots of people talk about him. I’ve even been to a few networking events that he has also attended. But whenever I ask someone what [...]
Thankyou
Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who took the time to post comments in response to my last 2 posts regarding Commission Junction and my site being ripped off *again*.
It’s great to hear everybody’s thoughts/opinions on my ramblings and for the support too.
That’s it, just wanted to thank you all
What I’m [...]

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.
