Get2Gether thanks
Well I’ve just about recovered from the official A4U London Pub Meet last week. In fact that night out coupled with a couple of nights out at home over the Bank Holiday is the reason I’ve taken so long to post here. So blame the Peroni and my intolerance to hangovers.
The attendance was the best yet for any Get2Gether with 503 people coming through the door. The atmosphere on the night was really relaxed and as usual it was great to meet up with the friends I’ve made through AM. However next time I must make the effort to explore the whole place as apparently there was an area downstairs that I wasn’t even aware of! Big thanks to Matt and the sponsors for a great event though, well worth the trip to London.
One thing I would point out is that if you enjoyed the event then please post your feedback on this thread over at the A4U forum. 503 people attended and only 52 have commented and left feedback. If people can leave their feedback for Matt then I’m sure it will help make the next events even better!
I’d also like to thank Helen for recommending the Great Eastern Hotel in Liverpool Street. It’s a 5 star hotel and not cheap but I can highly recommend it. A fantastic selection of 6 bars and 6 restaurants too which were packed even on a Wednesday evening. In fact we were late attending the G2G as we were enjoying the beer too much in the Fish Market bar.
What I’m listening to right now: Keyshia Cole - “The Way It Is”. This girl is a *serious* new talent, if you like your R&B then check the album out.

In a similar manner I spent so long chatting to people down stairs that I had forgotten the upstairs completely existed untill chucking out time. Whoops.

It all seems like a bit of blurr now. But it was good… lost my voice, sign of a good night ;0)
