Who is Shak?
Do you know? Let me explain.
His name crops up every now and again in the circles that move in. I’ve seen his posts on a few forums and I’ve heard lots of people talk about him. I’ve even been to a few networking events that he has also attended. But whenever I ask someone what he does, nobody seems to know. The best explanation I get is that he is involved with search engines/affiliate marketing/online stuff.
Anyway the reason I bring him up is that I discovered his blog the other day at Chinawhite. Typically, however I seem to have found his blog too late as it appears to be winding down. But don’t let that put you off as it is a genuinely interesting read about his time in China. I especially like Shak’s What Does Your Company Do? post which I can certainly relate to, having held many similar conversations myself.
So Shak mate, if you stumble across this I just wanted to say keep the blog going as its very good and I hope to meet you soon. And maybe a profile about you on the blog may be a good idea

hey,
I met Shak (at least I think I did) at the buy.at speakeasy event in London. I was introduced to him by a guy from UK Web Media. Apparently he has lots of fingers in lots of pies…. and I think he has more than 10 fingers. He said he’d just come back from China too.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay and get pissed long enough to find out more.
