I was reading ShoeMoney’s Blog today and came across this post.
Basically it’s a thread where ShoeMoney offers the following:
“What if you could get a list of every word your competitor has been bidding on? How much would that be worth to you? We have been working on some tools to do just that….
someone give me a domain…. any domain, and ill tell you EVERY keyword they are bidding on.. limited time offer! (like the next hour =P )”
It must have peaked his audiences interest as at the time of writing there are 92 comments including this one:

So basically Wayne (thankyou Wayne) asked ShoeMoney to find out what keywords I am using to target visitors to my site via Google AdWords. Now normally I would be quite *annoyed* by this, if it wasn’t for the fact that the keywords are so very wrong.
To be honest I don’t direct much traffic to the UK Offer homepage. And if I did I certainly wouldn’t use phrases like “turkiyede dvd kiralama”!!!! So I hate to say it ShoeMoney, but your tool needs a little bit more work.

Ah, but have you been cornering the UK online shopping market with the killer keyphrase “shopping snoopy”? I knew I should have made a shopping snoopy page.
What does “turkiyede dvd kiralama” mean anyway? I think it’s Turkish, but none of the online translators seem to do Turkish.

People should spend more time worrying about their own stuff then what others are doing.
That said, you mentioned you don’t direct much traffic to the homepage, but I’m sure you send quite a bit to the landing pages on ukoffer right?

I’ve used more then one keyword finder and they keywords they poop out are just random keywords they think are related to the site.
I tried them on my high traffic domains, and they came up with all kinds of crazy keywords that I know I am not bidding on.
So either it’s one big scam or they DO need A LOT MORE work !
