Eggnog!

For some reason you just can’t buy Eggnog in this country. Don’t ask me why as its very popular festive drink in the USA and Canada as well as other parts of Europe.

However….I’d like to thank LetsEatDirect.com for coming through with some for me this year. Not only did I get some Eggnog but I also ordered some genuine US root beer. Think coke and TCP mixed if you haven’t tried it, sounds awful but its gorgeous.

Eggnog is a disgustingly cloying combination of a terribly texture and revolting flavour. What’s wrong with you?

Root beer, however, is devine - I’m old enough to remember when you could still buy it in McDonalds, and now you have to buy it from an importer’s website. How times change.

You should drop-ship it Kieron!

There must be more people like you.

I’ve never tried EggNog, but I must hunt some down myself.

You can get EggNog in Starbucks now, it comes mixed with coffee of course.

As for root beer, OMG! I tasted some in Florida this year and it has to be an acquired taste! A strange blend of surgical spirit and TCP uggg!

The eggnog latte in Starbucks is made with a syrup (I asked). And yes, root beer is an acquired taste but I love it!

If you ask me, root beer is just like Dandelion and Burdock!! As for Eggnog - we used to have it here as a tradition, but as per usual , us Brits aren’t allowed to enjoy anything!!

I went for a hunt today for pop tarts, not in one supermarket in my town, and there’s a few big ones.
Apart from Asda, which I can’t get to (its miles away from my area) whom only sell the boring strawberry and chocolate ones (with no icing on top?!!) but well cheap £1.79!
on the internet theyre a rip off, cheapest ive found so far is £2.45 a box, but then oo wat a surprise, rip off delivery charges!!
why aren’t english people allowed amazing breakfast cereals anymore..?
Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams, America even has frosted cheerios!! I mean, i could do that myself, but its the principle that matters!

Maybe it’s part of why Americans are so fat. (I’m American)

I stumbled on this site while searching for why you cannot buy eggnog all year round. Eggnog is definitely an aquired taste and I only like a few vendors who make it (TG Lee). I had to laugh at most of the posts as I am from America and most don’t think twice about pop tarts or root beer or even breakfast cereals. In fact the good Americans who try to stay healthy keep away from most of that! Which brings me back to the point of eggnog only being seasonal, good thing or I might gain back the 30 lbs I just lost!
