Google AdWords Policies

I’ve been running this search term on AdWords for a few days now. The picture you can see is of today’s activity (well around 4 hours worth). As you can see the keyword was costing me $0.31 and getting me the number 1 position. The CTR was 100% and there are no other advertsiers at all bidding on this keyword.
So I attempt to lower the bid to $0.11 and then I get the inactive for search warning, asking me to increase my bids to $0.15.
Why? I have other similar keywords running at $0.01 in exactly the same situation. So why is this different? Who knows, I’ve give up trying to understand AdWords policies.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.
