Nice suprise in my inbox

I received the following email the other day that brought a smile to face. Its emails like these that motivate me to keep the blog going and forum posting.

Hi Kieron

I just thought I would send you a quick email to say thankyou for inspiring me so much. A year or so ago I seen a post on afiliate forum from yourself showing photos of commission cheques. Ever since I seen them photos I was inspired and I researched into affiliate marketing and seo.

And as you can tell by my email I cant spell for shit and I was in nearly every remedial class there was at school. But I’ve been able to make £3,000 a month online from adwords and affiliate programs.

Ive was making £790 a month in a dead end job in a factory putting up with shit from supervisers that didnt have a clue what they were doing and the only reason they were there was because they were related to the boss. Im 26 and have 2 young children 6 and 2 and i had to do something to make more money.

Cut a long story short I’ve just been able to book a modarate wedding and have a nice honeymoon in disneyland florida for my children.
I could never have dreamed of being able to do this as i couldnt afford too.

I’m as happy as a pig in shit, i know that £3,000 a month is nothing to you.
But with out you having ever posted the pictures of them cheques and your blog inspiring me I know that i would never have been motivated into the world of affiliate marketing.

so for that Kieron
Thanks a million

and maybe one day i will do even better (and learn how to spell)
or maybe even buy you a drink at a affiliate meeting.

Enjoy 2007

Sincerly
Trevor Edwards

Well Trevor, thanks for your email. £3,000 a month is an amazing achievement so well done, now lets see if you can grow it to £30,000 a month :)

What a hilarious email. Straight to the point, no beatin round the bush yet great news and shows that ANYONE given time and dedication can make money.

The funny thing is, by being a bad speller, Trevor is probably doing well when compiling common mispells for his campaigns :)

Great news and like has been said, keep plugging away, enjoy your honeymoon too!

frostie you hit the nail on the head with my misspelling.

80% of my sucsess were mistakes and turned out to be great as im paying £3 on adsense to get £80 back due to misspelled keywords.
also optimised sites for the keywords.

Trevs top tip for the day

x box 360 is a lot better then
xbox 360 but im sure you all know
them tricks im just a newbie.

the wedding is in january 2008. i will send pictures.
also just to add some more info to the above email.

i came across the pictures of
Kierons cheques by change as some one had posted them on a social bookmarking site. with the title Look how much money this guy makes online.
so it was by chance that i clicked on the link as i hadnt got a clue what affiliate marketing was.

If you know the post in question please post it. i wouldnt mind having another read of it
cheers
Trev

Congrats Trevor!
That’s the good thing about ppc, everyone is able to make money this way… You don’t need knowledge of design, seo, programming, etc. Myself, I am also a family man and I don’t have always time to work on my projects, but ppc allows you to put things on auto pilot and step away from your business for a short time when necessary. Anyway, I wish you have a great wedding!!

It’s not just Trevor who you’re inspiring - you’re inspiring me too!

Obligatory sob story, are you ready? Sat comfortably? You’re not? Well go and get a beer. Good. Back? I’ll begin..

I’m 20 years old and have been suffering from a long term illness from the age of 12. Long story short - I’d struggle to hold down a ‘real’ 9-5 job and working from home is the only option.

My Dad showed me an article about affiliate marketing in a local newspaper back in June and since then I’ve tried to learn as much as I can about it. I’ve taught myself XHTML+CSS and the basics of PPC marketing. After about 6 weeks of finally launching a few small sites I’m earning/will be earning £800 a month which I find incredible for the first six weeks (considering the fact that I’ve never had a job…)

I have exams at the moment and as such can only spend a couple of hours a week on my sites but as soon as they’re over I’ll be doing this full time!

I keep reading your blog and it gives me confidence to keep pursuing this, so thank you :)

Nice story.

Good to see so many people who are finally happy doing what they love online and getting paid for it.

I have a website that does ok but not as good as £3k a month.

Keep going mate i’m sure you’ll reach the £30k in no time :o).
