Rich Gurus launches - with, wait for it….a mile long sales letter page! What a surprise!
Yep, Rich Gurus is now live. And just as I expected its a huuuuge long sales letter page with loads of promises and the usual rubbish you see on these type of sites. Oh dear, how about something new and original please?
The secret product that will “explode your income today” is actually a 10 hour video training program that sells for $77. But act quick as the price will soon increase to $99! LOL
There is one major thing that really annoys me about this type of get rich scheme, and that is…..
If there were really a team of “five of the finest and most successful marketing minds” behind this product then who are they? Surely if they were so well respected, well known and successful then it would make much more sense to publicly put their names to this? Doesn’t the fact that there are no names attached just say it all.
Avoid at all costs.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Holy fuck, that takes the cake for long sales letters. Let me guess… the “system” teaches lesser idiots how to sell clickbank products.
This affiliate hype machine makes me sick to my stomach.

As usual, The Onion has the best take on these kind of schemes: http://www.theonion.com/content/node/33254

Given that they couldn’t afford to get the graphics done properly, I’m thinking this may not be a great quality product!

I agree with your sentiments about Rich Gurus….. but….as sales letters, they take some beating. There’s a whole bunch of these things doing the rounds at the moment. Off the top of my head I can think of Nick James’s sales letter too. But some of them are highly instructive if you look at them as a free copywriting learning experience.

Hello… this was an interesting post…
but why is it that people write things they actually know little about.
For example, I purchased this product, and you need to realize that there is NOT an ebook in sight, or not one that came with the program.
Yes, I purchased it. So, unlike you others, I actually know whats in this product. I have bought all of the others… The Day Job Killer, Ultimate Wealth Package, Adwords Miracle… you name it, Ive bought it… oh, the last one I bought was Project Black Mask…
Why do I buy them? Because making money online is all about being educated… people pay $50,000 to go to college, so spending $77 here, $97 there is NOTHING. Its all about being educated.
If you know anything about making a living online, you will know that just ONE strategy from any product can make you THOUSANDS of dollars over and over again. So, would you pay $100 for that? Damn, Id pay $1000 for that knowledge.
Oh.. I read your other post too… your predictions were quite wrong.. this is not another ebook as predicted…. there is not a single picture of a car, boat or any dodgy men with moustaches.
Thank God!
But you are right, it is a long sales letter. Having said that, if you know anything about Copywriting, then you would know that LONG copy always outsells SHORT copy… thats why they do it!
Anyway, those are some of my thoughts… and believe me, this product was one of the best Ive bought online… because its NOT a useless ebook like several other ones Ive bought in the past.
You are right, many products are crap, but as someone who actually purchased this product, I can say that it actually does over-deliver as promised. When they said 15 hours, I was actually expecting them to be exaggerating.
But they weren’t!
Oh well… have a great day.

ironic that “Lucy” posted the longest comment on here?

My inbox was flooded with promos for this. Glad I passed, more distractions. I dont know what is about, but it screamed “hype” to me, so I stayed away. Unless you’re a total beginner, I dont know if “10 mile sales letters” work for intermediate - advanced crowd anymore. I mean, sure, they could be great for learning from, but to sell to another marketer, you’ve probably seen the pitch before.
