Rich Gurus - more eBook crapola coming our way soon
It looks like we are about to get bombarded with another Rich Jerk ripoff eBook “make a zillion dollars online the easy way” type of get-rich-scheme rubbish over the coming weeks.
Over the last few days I have seen this exact same message on at least 6 webmaster forums:

I found a new affiliate site being launched soon but can’t work out who is promoting it. It seems like a group of top affiliates, but I can’t tell.
Does anyone know anything about this? Who they are?

Well I think that this is just yet another “get rich” eBook that will pray on the weak, the gullible and the stupid. I can guarantee you that when it launched it will involve a long “sales letter” web page scattered with pictures of speed boats, Ferraris and luxury villas. It will also have some testimonials coupled with pictures of gentleman wearing moustaches, bad haircuts and sports jackets with their arms around girls in bikinis.
There will be a “too good to be true” offer whereby you can save $100 or so by subscribing to the eBook “today!” and basically the same sort of nonsense that we have seen only around 10 million times.
I subscribed to the website because I really want to see the “Rich Gurus Expose the TRUTH!!!” and this was the email I received:

On March 18, the best Internet marketers gathered for a very private meeting in an undisclosed conference room.
What was the upshot of their discussions?
I can’t reveal all, but what I can say is that these Rich Gurus had had enough!!!

Ironic that the first trackback you get for this article is from a spammy made for Adsense site which is undoubtedly the sort of get rich quick scheme this eBook will be promoting. Pass me one of those Peronis!

Hi,
I also received an email about this site, but it came from a VERY respected marketer, so I think you should wait until it launches before you judge it. From what this email said, there is no ebook in sight. It said something about 15 hours of videos, and if thats true… then I guess I should expect it to be pricey!
Anyway, I guess we will know soon.

I checked out the site. I am on the email list. Yes it is 15 hours of video. I am still waiting to find out exactly what is covered. Again the sales letter does not tell you what it really is. But is sounds like it could be of good value. I do know that a respected marketer is promoting it. I did ask him if it was good. He said that it was. I am curious enough to keep waiting to see if anyone that bought it will cough up the details. It is just $77 right now. It goes up to $99 soon I hear. The same tactics a lot of gurus do to get sales. I guess they play our phycology. Nice blog.
It would be easy just to bash every guru product and get some cash. Maybe I should do that instead of promting it. Ha…
