I agree with this advice wholeheartedly. I’ve tried so many niches and had so many failures, but now and again you just hit upon something that works.

I normally concentrate on faddy stuff with a short shelf life and last year I found a niche that made me �60k in the space of about 3 months. This year I found a niche that is making me up to �20k per week in profit. I’m now looking for my next niche.

Very true – people need to get on and try things out! I recently wrote an article on my blog about the importance of experimenting – failure should not necessarily be seen in a negative way; after all, you have learnt something new from the process.

haha, kieron, think i know exactly the thread on a4u that probably resulted in you blogging this, my reply to him was as blunt as always…”either do it or give me the keywords, i wont hesitate”! Just a shame i then got a few PM’s asking advise, and i know very little, but just give it a go regardless. I agree that for a few lousy quid, you would gain more from further learning, and failed attempts help in the long run, we’ve all had them!

Spot on post.

I went through this myself, but later found it was a fear of failure that was keeping me from doing it instead of talking about doing it.

The thought of what could be done and the end results felt better then actually doing it because if I didn’t ever do it, I couldn’t fail at it and be disappointed.

Bottomline, it’s all in your head, just do it!

I also don’t like the skeptics who don’t believe you can’t make money online. It does sometimes take a bit of work, but it’s not rocket science.

Yep, good post, good advice. I’ll just add, since I never ask these questions, I’m an expert at failure and slowly learning what works.
