Write a review of my site and win a Sony Ericsson P990i Smartphone

sony-ericsson-p990i.jpg I'm giving away a brand new boxed sim-free Sony Ericsson P990i Smartphone to one lucky blog reader. Here's how... Simply write a review that is a minimum of 200 words long for my bingo site at www.bingo.org.uk. To qualify for entry to the competition though you must use 2 of the following phrases as link anchor text in your review: bingo online bingo bingo online play bingo play bingo online So an example of how this would fit into the review would be:
Online bingo is fast becoming one of the most popular online games on the web, bingo.org.uk is a great place to read bingo reviews and find out the latest offers available to players.
Whats more, as well as giving the writer of what I judge to be the best review a brand new Smartphone I will also link to some reviews from this blog, thus sharing some link love. I'm going to keep this competition open for a few weeks so for your chance to enter simply email me via the contact page and give me the URL of your bingo review before Tuesday 10th July 2007. Remember it must be more than 200 words and contain at least 2 links back to bingo.org.uk using the anchor text phrases above. The competition is only open to people within the UK, sorry. I've just checked The Link and this phone is currently selling for £350, so hopefully not a bad prize for someone willing to write a short review! Heh, better hope Matt Cutts doesn’t stop by :P

  2. Matt says:

UK only? What if we pay for postage?

  3. Kieron says:

Its not the postage I’m worried about to be honest Matt. I’m concerned that the phone won’t work outside of the UK. I don’t know much about mobiles to be honest when it comes to international use so thought it would be best to limit it to the UK where I know for a fact it will work.

  4. Matt says:

Fair enough, if you got it (or are going to get it) through a UK based carrier then it could be locked. Otherwise it should be good to go anywhere. You can always get them unlocked to work anywhere anyway, but up to you of course! Hehe.

  5. Chris says:

count me in ! looks like a great offer.

Thats probably the cheapest means of gaining good SEO available, great idea Kieron.

  8. Kieron says:

Cheap? A £350 phone cheap?? The only way it could be considered cheap is if the phone was a prize donated to me for free. Oh wait….

  9. David Fiske says:

Can this be added to any blog or does it need to be added to a bingo related website?

It’s a fantastic prize for a fantastic competition!

  10. Chris Frost says:

An ingenious idea my friend. I won’t be reviewing the bingo website but will be giving you some free love link anyway. Keep me posted on how this goes as if its successful I am sure it will be mirrored by other websites (mine included) in the future.

    Good luck!

  11. Kieron says:

Hi David, any blog/website will do, it doesn’t have to be a bingo related site at all.

    Chris, thanks mate!

  12. Rob says:

Whoever wins just make sure you update the firmware before using it! It can be a mare of a phone without the latest one.

  13. Ian says:

Even at £350, get enough entries and thats a good number of quality links, making it a sound investment, you know that, i know that ;)

My overall experience has been good with sony ericsson p990i. Although it does had few downside which i would like to point out. First, its slow. For the business phone, a smartphone which offers application which are more usefull to people on the run. But i would not recommend it as its not that responsive. It often restarts on its own if u have to more den 4 applications running at the same time(not always restarts but it does sometimes). Large in size and in the first week i could feel the flip not up to standards.. u could feel loose keys and all while dialing. The qwerty keyboard keys are 2 small even for 10 year old. Im sure there are ppl who would like to point out the good side of this phone but im here to point out the bad side…. for busy buiness people this is not the phone for u check out p990i it look promising.. for people who cant find everything in one phone well u have this as ur option. wifi, bluetooth u name it, it has it.. tech freak are more attracted towards wat it can do.. oh by the way ppl are just ripping off when it comes to softwares u wont find good softwares which are usefull for it.. all the softwares out dere are just useless n full of viruses.. i had to reset my phone twice :@
