You have to take into consideration that some of us lot that have real jobs ;) By this I mean I don't pick up the phone because I am busy in work, on a voice conference or I am in a meeting, not because I'm a hermit, far from it infact :) My mobile phone provider are really on the ball and have provided me with a utility called a Voice Messaging Service however for some reason, people choose not to leave messages on my mobile. As for the 9-5pm contact, obviously I couldn't disagree further. I would much prefer to be called outside of these hours (well after 5pm anyway, never before 9am). Its a tough one to call considering the industry we are in. Maybe each network should add the utility for you to specify how you prefer to be contacted (phone, email, msn etc) and also what times are best. But that doesn't mean I want to be available anytime anywhere. Email and IM are far preferable means of communications. I can pick up messages when it suits me.
