Thanks to everyone involved in the Bristol Get2Gether

Thanks to Matt and the Existem team for organising a fantastic event in Bristol last week. Thanks also to the sponsors for making it happen and donating some fantastic prizes - although I was gutted I didn’t win a Nintendo Wii.

Unfortunately due to some of the worst weather we have experienced in years many people couldn’t make it as trains and planes were cancelled and roads were blocked. Well done to the few who undertook 7, 8 and 11 hour journeys to get there though!

The event was as usual fantastic and it was great to see lots of new faces who were attending their first event. I had a fantastic time, and as usual the only drawback was lack of sleep from getting to bed so very late.

Highlight of the evening for me was meeting “H” from pop group Steps, or was it Zak from Prezzybox?

I’ve always found that H from steps to be particularly attractive and generally endearing as a person. I can see the resemblance!!!

Ha ha, classic. Unfortunately this year there aren’t any ’standing whilst sleeping’ pics.

that’s coz they wouldn’t let me in the chuffin club coz my footwear (shoes!) were “too chuffin casual”. I wouldn’t mind, but the scruffy gyt next to me had some tatty old brown trainers on and got in no problems.

Typical.

The amount of times I have to explain they’re not trainers to doormen is unbelievable!
