UKOffer.com relaunch - your chance to be featured on new site
My longest standing and most well known site, www.ukoffer.com is in the middle of a huge overhaul. It started life out in about 2000 as an old school shopping directory type of site. However its fair to say that it never reached its full potential as I soon found out that smaller niche sites were the way forward instead of big “catch all” directory sites.
So instead I used UK Offer as the structure for building landing pages for ppc campaigns - this was back in the days when this would pass as a landing page to Google. As time passed I developed more and more stand alone sites and mini sites to replace landing pages so once again UK Offer got neglected.
Until now that is. We are working on a new version of UK Offer which will be based around the Wordpress CMS system. I’ve chosen Wordpress as its dead easy to keep it updated and can be done by anyone, with no technical ability needed. I’ve also used Wordpress on a few other sites and it seems to do well in the search engine rankings. All good stuff.
So that brings me to the purpose of this post, as the site is called UK Offer I thought I may as well continue with the theme of offers, vouchers, discounts etc. So with that in mind I’m looking for offers, promotions and discount codes from merchants. So if you are a merchant who currently has say 20% off selected lines in a Summer sale, or maybe you can offer a discount code or competition then please contact me. In return I can promise you will be featured in the newly launched UK Offer site in around a week or so. I plan to do quite a bit of PR on the new launch so it will be well worth your time.

I look forward to seeing your new ukoffer site, and how you use wordpress, will it be a heavily hacked version.
I am starting to convert a few of my dead sites to wordpress with good results.

Hi Purple, yes it is a custom template. There are so many plugins available, its just such a good platform to build a site on.
