I participated at the concert that night and was been fantastic I came from Naples-Italy and I was been fortunate because I danced with Him on the stage.(I was that crazy man with the white shirt). I’m disperatly looking for videos or pics of that evening. please. thank u.

I WENT TO SEE PRINCE,WITH MY NEPHEW AND OUR GIRLFRIENDS ON THE 11TH AUGUST,I PREVIOUSLY SAW PRINCE IN 1992,WHEN HE PLAYED AT MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL GROUND,AND MAN THAT WAS A CONCERT TO REMEMBER.I EXPECTED TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME FEELING I HAD BACK THEN,BUT TO BE BLUNT,I WAS DISAPPOINTED.THE REASON,BECAUSE IN MY OPPINION,PRINCE SEEMS TO PEFORM BETTER AT OUTDOOR ARENAS,NEITHER THE LESS I KNOW HE READS THESE,SO ALL I CAN SAY IS COME TO HULL AND PLAY,WE HAVE A STADIUM WHAT WOULD SUIT YOU AND WOULD BE BURSTING AT THE SEEMS WITH PEOPLE WANTING TO SEE YOU PERFORM.HERES A QUESTIOM FOR PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED THE O2 CONCERTS,WHAT WAS WITH THE BOX BEEN CARRIED ON,WAS PRINCE IN IT,OR WAS IT A DISTRACTION.

I went to two nights, but whilst they were great concerts they didn’t even compare to the aftershow of 22nd August. For a lifelong Prince fan, this was an absolute dream and if anyone gets the chance to see Prince at an aftershow, this is definately the way to go. He plays what he wants to play, not just the “hits” that many concert goers want.

I went to watch 2nites, Friday 31st and 1st sep and have to say they were the best nites of my life!
Had great seats lower tier 1st nite and 8 rows from the front on the floor the second nite) so cant comment on people complaining about the acoustics up in the rafters, but have to say he was pitch perfect both nites - I was so amazed that after all these years he can hit every note of songs like ‘I feel for you’.
The show was amazing! He was on for hours and between the two nites I heard almost every one of hits I was looking forward to and also him doing some brilliant versions of songs by bands as random an different as INXS and Gnarls Barkley.
I can honestly say I never have and suspect I never will see a gig as good.
He definately got the crown of best live artist around!!

I went to see Prince on the 12th September. We got him back to complete a 2-hour set, give or take. Much screaming for ‘more’ was required this end.
Rock ethic number 1 folks: Keep the faith & never leave a gig just because the lights have gone up. I have been going to rock gigs since the early 70’s and we must never assume that the departure of the artist from the stage means we shouldn’t expect a minor drama & struggle to get them back. For me, it comes with the ticket. Back in the day, I didn’t care about missing the next bus or whatever. Despite the darned awful sound in the Arena which I feel my ears adjusted to somewhat it was a good night all in all, but the acoustic meant that Prince’s solo keyboarding sounded like a pair of cats fighting it out in an oil drum, (All the beat notes and interference patterns from the roof suspended speaker stacks making for some very unpleasant dissonances)!
