Saying something nice…Affiliate Marketing agency gets it very right

After a network representative pinged me on MSN the other day and asked me why I never say anything “nice”, the ideal opportunity arrived in my inbox to do just that.

It seems my 5 tips on how to promote an affiliate program post struch a chord as I received this email from Andy Mitchell from R.O. Eye. Here it is in full:

What a great example of how to communicate a promotion to affiliates, here’s why Andy’s email rocks:

1. Its personal and friendly: He calls me by my name, reminds me that we have spoken before (as I have terrible memory) and even gets my website URL right!

2. Andy sends me not 1 not 2 but 3 discount codes, sweet.

3. Andy also sends me personalised deep links as well as some copy I can use on my site. Again, how easy is that for me?

The only way Andy could have made this any better for me would be if he had also emailed me some Peroni too, but alas technology hasn’t advanced as far as sending alcohol down the Internet.
