Almost 4 months ago I blogged about the teaser trailer for the new JJ Abrams movie, Cloverfield.
Well there’s a new Cloverfield trailer just been released where you get to see a bit more of whats going on and the attack on New York.
I can’t wait for this movie to come out, I’m almost as excited about this [...]

Facebook Ads as good as AdWords in 2000? I don’t think so!

16

Search engine marketing blog “Apple Pie & Custard” published an article yesterday entitled “Why Facebook Ads are a Better Opportunity Now than Adwords in 2000”
I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with a statement as strongly as I do with this one. There are lots of reasons for this. but the big obvious glaring reason is this.
If [...]

Calling birds…now French maids

3

I’ve been chatting to Fi a bit today and comparing notes about the reaction that my last post about the 4 Calling Birds created. It seems we’ve both had emails and MSN messages along the lines of “hubba hubba” and “wow! Is that really the girl at the end of the telephone with the funny accent?” [...]

If there was ever a reason (or 4) to visit the website of online marketing agency Equator this Christmas, well here it is.
Remember the ever popular Christmas song “The 12 Days of Christmas”? You know how it goes, “12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping and so on, right until you get to a partridge in a [...]

Blog flipping, a great way to make money online

14

CashQuests.com has just been sold for $15,000 on SitePoint.
The blog has been around since December 2006 and in October 2007 generated $1390 in revenue, so based on that figure they achieved a selling price of around 11 x monthly revenue. So not a bad multiple.
What interests me is that in a relatively short amount of time [...]

Battle of the Mobile Phone blogs

5

As a big mobile phone fan I read a ton of mobile related blogs every day. I was amused however to see Dial-a-Phone and Mobileshop having a bit of a scrap this week. Check it out for yourselves, was there any copying going on?
BTW I love retailers that have blogs, I think it creates more of a [...]

Interview with super affiliate Stephen Hewitt who sold his business for over £3 million

9

I’ve known Stephen Hewitt from Credit Card Expert for some time now. In December of last year he did a deal to sell his business for over £3 million. I thought it would be a source of inspiration to ask him a few questions and ask him just how he spent his money :)
And here’s a link that shows [...]
