I have had the iphone and i now have i the nokia n95 8gb, i have liked them both.
Apple are bringing out the iphone 3g next month and i am interested in the iphone once again as it was a sexy bit of kit and was good for web browsing.
However i feel the new iphone is still limited as it only has a 2mp cam and the games u can get for the iphone are worse than game boy games and i wasnt able to transfere using bluetooth. Basicly it wasnt as good as it looked before i bought it.
But i think i might have to switch back to the iphone but i sure hope i dont regret it as the n95 has had and done everything iv always needed were the iphone hasnt and i will miss the n95's 5mp cam.

I'd be torn between either phone to be honest. I'm stubbornly anti-Nokia even though the N95 possibly addresses all my issues with their phone design.

The iPhone looks good and is quite good to use (I've spent this morning playing with a colleagues iPhone) but it's almost too pretty and doesn't feel like a real piece of usable hardware. I use a G4 at work and I have an iPod but I just can't get excited about an iPhone for £300 on an O2 contract.

I'm a real Sony Ericsson fanboy at the moment and will be sticking to a traditional handset with buttons instead of touch screens (although the K850i has three touch-sensitive buttons...).

One thing i really love about smart phones is the ability to
surf the net and gain remote access to my computers. I cant believe apple have not included 3G - thats the dealbreaker for me.
I thought that the Usp for smart phones was internet access yet the n95 does not have a qwerty keyboard.

my mobile of choice is the HTC P4550 Kaiser.

I have never used the itunes site because of the drm issues and poor quality downloads. what bitrate do itunes use now is it still 128kbps ( a long way from cd quality). I buy cd quality mp3's at 320kbps for a fraction of what itunes charge add in a pair of sure headphones and its a great musical experience.

The iPhone is going to be lanuched in an arrogant and monopolistic way, which shouldn't be allowed in the UK, it is important to allow a free market, without restrictions to encourage competition so the market can develop and so that the consumer gets a better deal, the actions of apple are purely monopolistic and should be outlawed under UK law to protect consumers.

I bought the N95 last year and i can't wait to get rid of it.

The camera is good, but the GPS flat out doesnt work.

I would get a blackberry curve and an ipod touch.
