The next 3 weeks will be the busiest 3 weeks of the year - especially for retail. So its great to see affiliate network
TradeDoubler launching their
Christmas Calendar and
Christmas Snowstars promotions.

The
Christmas Calendar (above) will run from tomorrow Monday 26th November until Friday 14th December. As you can see from the image above there are exclusive 1 day offers such as the Halfords 1 day discount code tomorrow, increased commissions, prizes and voucher codes. I love these 1 day special offers, they create a great sense of fun and I'll certainly be promoting everyone on the list.

The
Christmas Snowstars is a page detailing all of the special offers/sales/voucher codes etc. that are currently running as well as a list of "Expected Christmas Top Sellers". As you can see from the screen grab above all you have to do is put your site ID into a box on the top of the page and then the site translated this into a ready made plain text link. Magic, very simple but so very useful.
So credit where credit is due. TradeDoubler have done a fantastic job in keeping us affiliates updated on whats happening with their merchants this Christmas. I can't emphasise how useful these tools are to me, well done guys.
But where are all the other affiliate networks Christmas promotion pages? Apart from TradeDoubler the only other network displaying Christmas promotions and incentives is Affiliate Window with their excellent "
Christmas Presents" pages. But why doesn't every network capitalise on the busiest time of the year in the same way that TradeDoubler and Affiliate Window have?

The 4% game.co.uk commission for hardware would be nice, shame the PS3 bundles page has been broken since last night on their site, not great for PPC affiliates
Well done TD! Great stuff.
However, our Christmas site was being constructed two months ago and adding merchants to them at the end of November doesn’t make sense. I wish networks would launch these things a few weeks earlier (though I know they have problems dealing with merchants, so not always their fault).
Nice idea by TD.
