Announcing the SecretSales.com affiliate programme

secretsaleslogo1.gif

So…a few weeks back I was surfing the web and a friend pinged me telling me to have a look at SecretSales.com. She knew that I like designer clothes, especially 7 For All Mankind and True Religion jeans and she had found a place where not only can you buy them online in the UK but they were half price! I couldn’t log on quick enough to see what it was all about.

It turns out that SecretSales is a free private online club where you have to register (name and email address) in order to see the “Secret Sales” that pretty much change every week. Not only that but for every person you refer that proceeds to make a first purchase, you will receive one £5, ‘e-voucher’ off your next order. You can let these vouchers accumulate to receive a larger discount.

Anyway I was really impressed with the labels that they were selling, as many just can’t be purchased online in the UK. I also really liked the concept or an online store that operates specific sales every week with genuine large discounts. In fact I was so impressed that I emailed them and said “hey, have you guys thought about launching an affiliate program?”

Well, the rest is history as they say. SecretSales.com have bought into Affiliate Marketing and today I’m pleased to announce that they have launched on Buy.at today and I’ll be managing every aspect of the program for them.

10 reasons why the SecretSales.com Affiliate Programme is awesome:

1. Designer gear at up to 80% off. Genuine designer gear that is, 100% authentic and real discounts too, not just 1 item at 80% and the rest at 5% :)
2. Brands like Diesel, 7 For All Mankind, Chloe handbags, Prada, D&G, Armani. Gucci, Moschino, True Religion, Rock & Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis and many more
3. Up to 10% commission for Affiliates
4. 25p for every new registered user you refer that signs up
5. A fresh new datafeed. updated at least once a day
6. The Buy.at ContentEngine - filled with SecretSales.com stock, just waiting to be featured on your site
7. Average basket size of around £70
8. On average 2 new sales a week to keep customers coming back for more
9. Its nearly January - peak sales period with lots of people searching for bargains online
10. Its managed by me so hopefully I’ll be aware of Affiliate’s needs and wants, plus the SecretSales.com team are 100% committed to the Affiliate channel

Congratulations on gaining your first affiliate management job. I really like the concept of the site, I think it is the first I have seen of it’s kind (in that niche any way). I am sure it will do well, best of luck with it.

Also Kieron I think I might have spotted a little typo, should secresales@ukoffermedia.com be secretsales@ukoffermedia.com ?

Richard - I’ve been asked to manage affiliate programs before but the right one just hasn’t come along until now. I feel that SecretSales will really fly in 2008. Thanks for spotting the typo, sorted now :)

Looks good Kieron, I’ve applied for a couple of our site and look forward to giving Secret Sales a shove in the January Sales.

Kieron - looks good mate and certainly a great affiliate package. Given you work on your own stuff alone, how the heck do you find the time to do this as well?

  7. hero (25 comments.) says:

I’m interested to find out why you opted for this commission structure, considering that affiliates usually cannot affect the basket value

best of luck with the new role and have a great new year

Purple - no Evisu in the near future but you never know, keep your eyes peeled!

Gadget - It is difficult but I’m relishing the challenge.

Hero - margins are tight on this program tbh as SecretSales sell their stock so cheap. So rather than offer a flat low rate I thought a tiered structure would at least give affiliates the opportunity to aim for the higher rates.
