Merchants who have increased commissions for Christmas. Cheers!
Given that we’re now right in the middle of the busiest time of the year its great to see that some merchants realise that now is the time to motivate affiliates in order to get the most out of their affiliate program. So let’s forget about the merchants who don’t understand affiliate marketing and actually DROP COMMISSIONS ON BEST SELLING PRODUCTS AT CHRISTMAS and spend some time giving a big shout out to the merchants who have increased their commissions during the busiest period of the year.
Thorntons
Thorntons is available on the Buy.at network and have increased their commission levels to 10% until the 20th of December. They also have a couple of discount codes availabe. Nice one Thorntons!
Hotel Chocolat
No discount codes available but they do have a bonus scheme in place whereby affiliates can earn a bonus of up to £1000! Their program is available on CJ.
Marks & Spencer Hampers
The standard commission on the M&S program is 5%. However this has been increased to 7% for their Christmas Hamper ranges. M&S is on Buy.at and Affiliate Window.
Everything But The Music
EBTM have increased their commission rates from 10% to 15%! And this change isn’t just for Christmas, its for ever and ever! The program is available on Paid On Results.
Are there any more merchants who have increased their commissions over the festive period? Please let everyone know using the comments form below and reward the merchants who have made an extra special effort this Christmas.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Kind of makes up for the other merchants cutting their commissions on Wii’s.

Goldsmiths via LinkShare UK are offering increased commissions up to 22% during December. You have to sign in and accept the improved rate.
It motivated me to build a page around their promotions.

Thanks Kieron, for this post, you drew my attention to the EBTM affiliate program, which caused me to start making a site for it.
Thanks again.

Yea good point on Goldsmiths. I had a rather nice £76 commission from another merchant from someone who’s just bought an engagement ring .. I hope she says yes so he doesn’t return it!!

Jumping on the bandwagon slightly……
Interflora have some great commissions available for all affiliates, depending on how you promote them. For example, if you use voucher codes your customers can get free p&p and free chocs and you will get 12% per sale! There are other incentives depending on the way you promote your clients, so please contact me if you are inteersted in promoting Interflora. This is a limited time offer, so get in there quick.

Apologies - that should have read 8% commission above.

There are some companies offering up to 20% commission to promote their products. Anything under 10% commission is not attractive.
