It'll be strawberry daquari and peroni ads next Kieron!

I get besieged by hen night, wedding photo, and wedding ring ads every time I sign in. Not relaxing. I don't need to be reminded about my impending wedding and all the stresses that go with it every time I wander in for a footer about on Facebook. Arrghhh!!

A bad example of Facebook targeting users via their profile:

As a single guy interested in women, I've just logged on to Facebook and been served an ad targeting Gay UK Singles. Cripes! Either poor ad targeting or someone thinks I may be convinced to bat for the other team.

Got to agree with your previous posts though Kieron, regardless of how much hype there is around Facebook ads, the fundamental flaw in my eyes is that people simply aren't actively searching for products or services on Facebook, and common sense tells me that conversions will be low as a result. Although that's not to say people aren't turning a profit. But there are better ways to turn a profit.

PS, great link Chris.
