I had an email today where the AM has done nothing but whine about their website position - not offer me anything news, information, promotion wise to do anything else... then they claimed they had 73% conversion rate - which is meaningless - and I'm missing out. Yet the same site launched a Royal Ascot promotion today - which I can write about it - yet did they mention this? No! It strikes me that many are still in a "if I can't see a banner you can't be promoting us" school of thought. Regarding USPs - many don't have any as they're skinned sites - and often hands are tied (or those in charge don't know how to change things) with regards offering more. Some rely solely on brand, others go for a "big free bingo bonus" - but there does need to be something more unique for a bingo site to really work.
