Prince was just awesome at Coachella
Regular readers will know that I am a huge Prince fan. It would seem that the LA Times is too, given their review of his appearance at Coachella the other week in the US.
The musician’s dazzling performance Saturday night uses hits, guest stars and killer covers to cement his status as perhaps the top live act around.
I couldn’t agree more and he is the best live act around. Apparently his version of Radiohead’s “Creep” was nothing sort of genius.
I just wish there was something on YouTube I could see but Prince’s lawyers have been really busy and I couldn’t find anything from the concert. Shame.

I don’t understand the logic behind removing all types of citizen journalism. OK, remove clips that have been professionally recorded, or where the sound quality is above average etc.
I was trying to find clips of GTA IV gameplay the other day and they had all been removed at the request of Take Two.
This reminds me of when Phil Collins requested the removal of the Gorilla Cadbury advert clips.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Some people just don’t get it.

I haven’t forgotten when you treated myself, frostie and Jess at his restaurant & watch him perform in Las Vegas which was one excellent night. Cheers again for that.

Moose, no problem, that was indeed an utterly fantastic night. I’d definitely head back to Vegas to see him play live again.
