I had a fair stream of traffic coming through at one point, all of which was pretty useless for conversions. You can't beat basic optimisation for Google Search combined with natural writing for your audience - it'll bring you relevant traffic that converts. I have always worked alongside a few copywriters who I know can get me good content and I suggest all online marketers do the same, hopefully for you they can come to trust your new service.
