GrabitNow.com launches with innovative customer proposition

I’m always on the look out for affiliate programmes that are a little different and offer a unique angle for us affiliates to promote. Well yesterday the Paid On Results blog caught my eye when it announced that they are launching a new merchant, GrabitNow.com. In particular this caught my attention in the programme details:

Grabitnow.com offer one new deal everyday at a crazy low price! The deal changes at midnight every day and a new offer is made available. With such great bargains on offer, you must grab them quickly as the deal may sell out at anytime, and there is no opportunity to go back and buy previous deals.

So I had a look this morning to see what they had on offer and saw that they are offering a Kenwood Smoothie maker for £19.46 including free delivery. Now I’m no expert on smoothie makers but according to the comparison chart on the site, it’s around £20 cheaper than other sites selling the same item.

GrabitNow.com

So with that kind of pricing and a new offer every day I think this could turn out to be a great affiliate programme. I love the idea that there is a new special offer daily as it keeps customers coming back, it also gives you something new to promote each day, great if you have a special offers site.

It looks like they are celebrating their launch by offering not 1 but 24 deals tomorrow too. According to the site there will be 1 new deal every hour starting from 12.01am (Wednesday 30th July) and there will also be 2 “free deal” hours. I’m not sure what they will be but it will be interesting to find out tomorrow.

You can earn 5% from the affiliate programme on Paid on Results, not a bad rate for this sector. More info here.

It always amazes me how quickly an affiliate will grab a new merchant and sit on brand.

This fits in quite nicely with one of my sites, I am trying out some of the banners on Paid On Results to see how it works out.

I did wonder how long it would take a UK merchant to rip off Woot..

Well, I gave that site a good go yesterday through the “deal every hour” thing, and wasn’t impressed by anything. Mostly rubbish and them comparing prices with the two most expensive prices for something similar somewhere else.

And when some freebie came along (dolphin CD or 4 AA batteries…) then their servers were grinding to a standstill..

I’m sure it wouldn’t take long for most people to get put off their site, there was another co-op buying site years ago I think was letsbuyit.com, in its earlier days what great things they had there.

This is fundamentally different to LetsBuyIt.com, which was essentially a Dutch auction site.

This (far from being ‘innovative’) is a derivative site of the massively popular Woot.com, which has been operating for many years now and does this much, much better than Grabitnow.

Basically it’s stock clearance.

I’ve seen these sites before, one of them that i’m a huge fan of is FlamingStock.com

very similar although they only do one deal a week.
