This is fundamentally different to LetsBuyIt.com, which was essentially a Dutch auction site.

This (far from being 'innovative') is a derivative site of the massively popular Woot.com, which has been operating for many years now and does this much, much better than Grabitnow.

Basically it's stock clearance.

Well, I gave that site a good go yesterday through the "deal every hour" thing, and wasn't impressed by anything. Mostly rubbish and them comparing prices with the two most expensive prices for something similar somewhere else.

And when some freebie came along (dolphin CD or 4 AA batteries...) then their servers were grinding to a standstill..

I'm sure it wouldn't take long for most people to get put off their site, there was another co-op buying site years ago I think was letsbuyit.com, in its earlier days what great things they had there.

I did wonder how long it would take a UK merchant to rip off Woot..

This fits in quite nicely with one of my sites, I am trying out some of the banners on Paid On Results to see how it works out.

It always amazes me how quickly an affiliate will grab a new merchant and sit on brand.
