Well done to fellow North Easterners, girl group "Bad Lashes" for getting through to Boot Camp on last night's X Factor. From what I hear they are doing well even though Louis Walsh is the "groups" mentor again this year and he described them as "four hairdressers trying to be a girl band" during the audition. I'm sure the girls will prove him wrong :)
What I'm listening to right now: Amy Winehouse - "Tears Dry On Their Own"Bad Lashes get through to the next stage of X Factor – supporting North East talent

One word: phwoarrrr
Totally agree, fit as ****
Managed to pick up http://www.badlashes.net over the weekend so I’m hoping they do really well!
The problem is they don’t look anything special and sing ok so I can’t see them doing really well.
awesome! OK they might not be supermodels but they have that much desired ‘girl next door’ appearance.
Congrats to Bad Lashes for getting through boot camp and onto the judges homes. From what I hear, they do very well.
they gorgeous
theyre soo unique
theyre really genuine girls
i love them so much
to win to win to winnnnn
wheyyyy
i really want to know where they get their clothes from
really badly
can someone recognise and mention it please?
They have come a long way in a short time and they are now starting improve. Sam has always loved singing and been on the stage she has such a lovely personality. We will see them go from strength to strength
We have not seen the best yet well done Sam and the girls
I agree that they have that girl next door look about them, but only if you live next door to millionaires – that’s what at least one of their families is – the girl from Hartlepool is a rich heiress. I don’t object to them being finalists, but I don’t think it’s right that they pretend they’re jut ordinary girls. I didn’t go to boarding school and private school, and I wouldn’t try to pretend I did – they should be proud of where they have come from, and not pretend they are something they are not.
They are proud sorry but they are just ordinary girls.
Hang on NO they are special they are from the North East so yes you are correct “Locallass”
Yes I agree they should be proud all girls that go to school in the north east must be the same as boarding school in the rest of the country.Anyway hope you enjoy the rest of the X Factor . Does that mean the Queen is going to have them around for dinner OMG Get a life
Uncle B.

The girls left to right
Emily McNamee , Sophie Wilson, Sam Bennett and Stacey Lacey Lincoin hope this helps
i love bad lashes its exactly what the north east needs they’re all gorgeous i’ll defo be voting each week, where exactly are they from? Go on girls anyway you’ll go far regardless of what happens on the x factor cos yr great!
In response to locallass:
Firstly: When have they EVER mentioned where they come from/who they are?
Secondly: Why the **** should it matter anyways? If they are good then who cares what their famillies have done?
Thirdly: I happen to know 2 of the girls personally – The ‘Hartlepool’ girl that you mention has NEVER in 4 years of knowing her, mentioned ANYTHING about what she has or has not got, not to mention how hard her family has worked!
Fourthly, even if they HAD gone to boarding school or were heiress’, what in gods name has that got to do with being talented? Furthermore, does that mean they should not be eligible for a positive career? Just because someone is born into some sort of good family doesnt mean they aren’t entitled to do just as well as the next person!
I suggest you think before callously talking down about others – be it jealousy or whatever – when you know the person concerned you may be able to comment – otherwise, you should keep your trap shut!
Nikki,
Sophie and Emily often play in Newcastle supporting Jamie Squire (www.Jamiesquire.co.uk) and Sophie is a founding member of Livewire Entertainment (www.livewireentertainment.co.uk/bandhome.html)
