A truly sad day - a diesel Porsche
Today is a sad day indeed. Porsche officially announced that from next year they will be launching the Cayenne available for the first time in the devil’s fuel, diesel. Please can we have a minute’s silence.
At least they had the decency to launch it in white in the press photo’s.
To try and take away some of the pain, here is the new 2010 Porsche Cayman (available in petrol only) which I think is their best looking car by far.

I have to say the Cayman doesn’t really do it for me. I know the Carrera GT doesn’t fully follow the “standard” Porsche look but I still think this looks the nuts! http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-2007/2007-Gemballa-Porsche-Carrera-Mirage-GT-Rear-And-Side-Top-1280×960.jpg
Now if they did the Cayman in the Hard, Soft Top I’d order one today.
Is it a derivative of VW’s V10 diesel?
These white cars are not going to look good with all that diesel soot stuck to the back of them.
I hear the Audi R8 is going diesel next year
@Bob , Yeah I think it’s a derivative of VW’s V10 diesel, But it surely looks heavy!!
