I’m A Celebrity…Ramblings
I don’t watch ITV’s “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here” but was channel hopping tonight and caught it for a bit and felt compelled to make some observations.
Dani Behr is gorgeous. Simply lush.
What is Martina Navratilova doing in there? She’s arguably the best female tennis player ever. Surely she doesn’t need the publicity?
Likewise why is George Takei in the jungle? The man is awesome, he was Mr. Sulu in Star Trek and also appeared in Heroes for heaven’s sake. Legend!
David Van Day is the most irritating annoying obnoxious little man ever.
Ant and Dec are still the best TV presenters in the UK.
Who is Brian Paddick? Nicola McLean? Joe Swash? Carly Zucker?
Simon Webbe seems a good guy, just needs to work on his music a bit is all.
I feel kind of sad for Esther Rantzen. She just doesn’t seem to want to be there and kind of sad.
Timmy Mallett is no Biggins.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I run UK Offer Media Ltd. I thought it would be fun to post a daily (well hopefully daily) blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing and more specifically Affiliate Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Thanks for the overview… Now I am definitely not watching it!!!
Don’t often disagree with you Kieron but, Celebrity is brilliant - it’s psychology in a box - watching human behaviour - for some it’s trying to regain former glory, some to show off and some for the challenge. I, unashamedly, love it.
I don’t get all these shows but so so many people love them. That’s one of the reasons I set up my Free Tickets site - http://www.freetickets.org.uk - it’s primary aim is to provide news and info on where to get free tickets for tv shows.
At the minute X Factor is top dog but in the new year it moves to Britain’s Got Talent then after that it’s Dancing on Ice. After that, I’m sure the Ant and Dec Saturday Night Take-Away will be back!
Kieron - as you know I’m a regular reader and contributor to your blog comments but if you think this comment is blatant spam, pls remove. I just thought it was relevant to your post.
I think if you are writing the following
“Timmy Mallett is no Biggins.”
on your blog, it’s time to take a long hard look at yourself.
It is a fantastic line though.
I think next season realisically they should have - Anthea Turner (drama), Gazza (suicidal), Keeley Hazell (sexy), Louis Thereoux (smart), Jim Davison (racist/comedian) and Rusty Lee (chef/funny woman) haha. Then mid way through they should be allowed to bring their families along, then record that too - it’ll be more interesting then.
I’ve got myself glued to the screen since the 16th of Nov to watch adults get messed around with jungle life. For some reason ,I really enjoyed watching Timmy
For some reason I just can’t bring myself to watch this although I do watch all the others. I think the celebs this year just do not hold my interest.
I was wondering the same thing about why Martina needed to be in there. I guess she just wanted the challenge, after all it might be a bit of craic.
I was watching last night and I have to say that while David is an annoying little man and Timmy can be irritating (although he totally gets a byball since he’s Timmy Mallet) I do feel a bit sorry for them.
I can understand Nichola’s frustration but she’s not really covering herself in glory now is she.
I think Martina once said that she missed out on all that endorsement money because she came out as a lesbian. That said, I would ahve thought she’d have a few million in the bank from prize money alone?
I think this format has had it’s day. Bunch of has beens. Where has all the creativity gone?
