There are loads of good promotions and incentives happening at the moment and the "12 Merchants of Christmas" promo from Buy.at is no exception.
Running right up until 24th December there are chances to win some cool stuff, including a home entertainment system worth well over £1000.

I’m not a fan of merchant competitions like these. No it’s no boo-hoo I never win (I’ve won 2 recently). Too many merchants forget the customer (not the affiliate, the real customer). They offer an iPod or TV as a prize but nothing to incentivise the customer to make a purchase such as ‘enter a prize draw’ if you buy today or £10 off or 20% off etc. Yes some merchants do and as such they are the ones I promote, kind of.
This may be because I don’t do PPC?
Gadget – I hear what you’re saying. Have you tried approaching merchants directly and asking for prizes to be donate for your users? As long as you have a busy site with a good audience then you will find plenty of merchants more than willing to help out.
Yes I have in the past but took your comment to spur me to try again. Generally some good replies but one that made me laugh, or was it cry, was from Online Golf.. “we’re too busy!”.
This “12 merchants of Christmas” by buy.at is really good. The merchants would be very happy on this offer. It would be good if most of them give such offers.
These promotions and incentives from Buy.at seems to be good. The “TWELVE MERCHANTS OF CHRISTMAS” hope this would attract the merchants a lot.
