This is the new Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Sterling Moss. There will only ever be 75 made and they will be the last vehicle built under the current Mercedes partnership with McLaren, and will retail at €750,000. Which at today's current exchange rate is about the same in UK Pounds Sterling.
What I love about this car (apart from it's 650-hp supercharged 5.5-liter V8 engine) is that McLaren have been a little daring with the styling and have given us something rather unique. Personally I love it's retro feel and I really, really want one :)
BTW just watched Dark Knight tonight and was impressed that Bruce Wayne drives a Lamborghini Murcielago. Way to go Batman!
What I'm listening to right now: Wiley feat. Daniel Merriweather - "Cash In My Pocket" - I admit I'm a little late on this one but love it.
Beautiful car you going to get one?
Just watched Dark Knight also and reckon the above would have been much better the the Lambo looks a little similar to the on in the Burt Ward show on tv in the 70′s
The both famous car maker showing off their output. There is no words to describe about the car style.
This car also looks like water sport long boat.
Like you say it’s nice to see them go very daring with it and go for a retro and F1 combination in different parts to it, although the front “bumper” reminds me of the Lambo Reventon!
I guess the big shame will be that most will end up locked away in privte collectors garages and not see much use!
I love it! It reminded me of the Batmobile when I first looked at it actually! The price tag is a little out of my range though
I wonder how many they’ll make?
I think it looks cool but I wouldn’t want one, does it have a hard top to put on when it rains? Wouldn’t be much use in sunny ol’ England without it.
Limited to 75 though means it will be worth something in time, reckon the Stig will get to throw one around the Top Gear track any time soon?
That Lamborghini has to be my favourite car of all time. I grew up racing toy Lamborghini Contache cars. My cousins all preferred Ferrari – pah!! Fools!
