ContentNow.co.uk launches News service

Content Now News

Today I'm delighted to announce the launch of a new product that we've been working on for months now, namely the ContentNow.co.uk News service. As I've been saying for years now, fresh quality content is the most important factor you need to help your website climb the search engines. I've seen it happen hundreds of times, add unique content to your site on a regular basis and your search engine rankings will improve. The Content Now tailored news product is one that we're aiming at sites that are looking for fresh daily (or less frequent) content but don't have the resources to produce it themselves. Launched in response to client and partner requirements, the Content Now News service delivers news that is:- * Unique - researched and written specifically for you and no-one else. * Relevant to your site's focus. * Grammatically and syntactically correct. * Keyword balanced (contains an appropriate keyword density / number of occurrences of your target search terms without being over-optimised which could risk a search engine penalty or render the content unreadable). * Formatted according to your requirements (we can deliver the content to you with some basic HTML formatting based upon your specific requirements or simply as plain text if you prefer). * Cost effectively produced (because we do this day in day out, there are significant economies of scale in terms of training, management and in-depth understanding of search engine optimisation and content optimisation). * Permanently yours (some other news providers will retain the copyright to the content they produce and will require its removal if you cease to be a client). * Delivered how and when you want it (delivery options include email, RSS / XML and automated Content Management Systems). Like all of our content, the news items are written by humans, here in the UK. Everything we write is unique, tailored to you and will only be used for your site, nothing is syndicated or reproduced anywhere else. If anybody would like to discuss this in further detail then please feel free to contact me via kieron.donoghue@contentnow.co.uk What I'm listening to right now: Euphoric Electronica Vol.2

Interesting service. Is all the content written in house? The major reservation I’d have is that with those prices you could get someone in house to do it yourself.

I also notice that you don’t retain the copyright, so presumably you wouldn’t be held responsible for any liable charges?

Just playing devils advocate a little!

  2. Dan Harrison says:

Do you research the topic of the content? Or do you need the leads provided to you?

    Thanks
    Dan

  3. Kieron says:

Yes all the content is written by our team of researchers and writers, Our product is aimed at sites that don’t have the in house resources to write content. Our starter package is 2 x 200 word articles per week at £13 each, That works out at only £104 per month.

We don’t retain copyright because by far and away the most common question asked by our clients is if they can own the copyright to the content. This frees clients to reproduce the content wherever they wish with no restrictions.

  4. Kieron says:

We research, write and proof all of the content. The client simply has to tell us what sector or market they want us to write about. So say you have a mobile phone site, you simply tell us that you want 20 x 300 word news articles on mobile phones per month. That’s all we need, we do the rest.

Think of the News service as a set-it-up-and-go type of service. It’s designed to take away the hassle of clients having to think or articles and content to go on their site and thus free up time. Instead we can research and write suited to your site and simply deliver it to you daily. We can even send it via XML feed straight to your site.

will be interesting to see how it goes. there’s a couple of established competitors already out there, so good luck to you. maybe we will try it sometime.

  6. Hi Guys

Thought it worth adding a couple of comments – we are of course competitive on price and quality but those are not our main differentiators. What separates our service from others is the degree of control available to clients, if required:-

    - Specific focus for the pieces rather than a generic sector focus
    - Detailed keyword and keyword density control
    - HTML formatting
    - Delivery mechanisms (XML / RSS / email / CMS)

Clearly some clients will want more control than others and we can readily accommodate this.

Hope that helps – Simon :-)

  7. It’s really good to see how new kind of content delivery methods are being used in content writing industry. The service seems affordable and I’ll be going to send few friends to your site.

  8. gadget says:

Great idea. I’ve just sent you an email with some questions. However, I’m assuming the basic questions are answered on the ContentNow site .. just off there now.

  9. Murray says:

    Hey

Nice service. It would help a lot to include some links to pages and posts that they have written.

  10. How do you decide what to write about? Do you follow the big sites/blogs in the industry and rewrite their post OR is it researched from manufacturer websites and press releases etc?

  11. It is a great concept, and I’m sure it will do very well for you. COntent creation is one of the biggest challenges for web endeavours, and employing somebody to do it is not always cost-effective. Here your service will be king! I like it!
