It must be nearly Christmas, here’s etoys.co.uk again!
Well it’s once again that time of year, Christmas is looming and I expect more people to buy toys and games online than ever before, so what better reason to put a bit of spit and polish onto etoys.co.uk to capitalise on the Christmas traffic.
As always, the site is built on the Affiliate Window Shopwindow (v.3 now) toolkit which, as I said 2 and a half years ago…rocks. Well done guys

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I am the founder of ShareMyPlaylists.com, ContentNow.co.uk and some other businesses. I thought it would be fun to blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Given that the site is built with duplicate content, may I ask what degree of natural traffic you get vs PPC?
I can see this model working for PPC but not for natural traffic.
Great logo btw.
All natural traffic, I don’t ppc it as most items are low value/low commission. Despite the duplicate content issue it does very well in the search engines, 4 figure traffic daily. I think the aged domain helps.
Wow. Thanks for the info and good luck for Crimbo.
Hi Kieron
Love the site design - its a big improvement on last year. Will be checking out Shop Window too.
Thanks
James
May I ask who did your site design, was it Dan at Baltic?
Certainly was http://balticblogdesign.com
Hey!
are you looking to integrate more toy merchants from other networks?
Hi Hero, not at the moment I’m afraid. The whole site is designed to sit on the Affiliate Window Shop Window platform so it will be pretty difficult. There will be banner placements and blog opportunities however for other merchants/networks.
Looks good. Im am trying to create a similar idea in wordpress at the moment, so i can integrate good amount of content into the site.
In terms of traffic is it all long tail stuff, that just goes direct to the product page? Is it enough to have a wide variety of urls?
I imagine that sort of traffic would convert pretty well aswell…
Hi Stuart, it’s a healthy mix of real long tail stuff that converts well, as you say. But also some good generic terms too.
Looks nice again mate! May have a word with Baltic about doing me some to freshen up some of my sites!
The 3D logo of the site looks awesome. Design is also clean and looks unique.
I would keep returning to that site just to keep drooling over that logo!
Yes, I love that logo too! Did Baltic do the logo as well or was it done by someone else?
Yes Dan at Baltic did the logo too
I’d be interested in learning what results you had with this site, if you wouldn’t mind sharing what you did with it prior to Christmas?
