Win 3 free passes for Affiliate Summit West 2010 - Las Vegas baby!

It’s been 2 years since I was last at Affiliate Summit West Las Vegas so I’ve decided that I’m well overdue a return trip and have booked up for it again this coming January.
The event is without a doubt the biggest Affiliate Marketing event of any size in the USA and there are already over 3200 attendees booked up for it. It will be taking place from January 17th to 19th 2010 at the Rio hotel in Vegas. Passes start at just $149 going up to $1249. However, event organiser Shawn Collins has kindly donated 3 full Platinum passes worth $1249 each to readers of this blog. All you have to do in order to be in with a chance of winning is to leave a comment below saying what you will be looking forward to most if you attend the event. Closing date for entries is December 24th 2009. Travel and hotel accomodation is not included, you must make your own way there.
There are already about 10 of us heading out from the UK so if you’re interested in joining us please get in touch. We may be able to help you out with a good deal on hotels too

What I’m listening to right now: Pet Shop Boys Christmas
P.S. Last time I was in Vegas I saw Prince, unfortunately he’s not playing this time but what other shows/concerts should I see?

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kieron Donoghue and I am the founder of ShareMyPlaylists.com, ContentNow.co.uk and some other businesses. I thought it would be fun to blog, writing about my experiences in Internet Marketing. I'll include some personal stuff too, probably about my other passions, music and cars. Please feel free to post your comments and thoughts too.

Prince was amazing despite bouncers catching me recording parts of it on my camera and losing my filling (not related!). Also seeing Ricky Hatton beat Juan Urango was top drawer too!
I’ve heard Phantom is well worth a visit, so I plan to do this for sure. Failing that how does Garth Brooks, Johnny Mathis or Beth Midler grab your fancy?
Sadly Miss America starts on 27th!
I’m going to be as honest as hell. If I won, what I would most look forward to is this…
Having spent many years at the big corporate coalface, advising affiliate sites as to how they can generate additional incomes with other comercial ad feeds and products - I’m really looking forward to being there for the first time as an actual affiliate. Time to walk the walk.
Apart from the constant Buzz of being in Vegas , I would look forward to hopefully getting a helping hand in how to monetize my existing sites for the US market!
I’m mostly looking forward to watching Ray and Frostie in action at the casino tables!
Seriously, I have high expectations on the sessions and speakers, be good to get a view of AM from the other side of the pond.
Ooops! Just realised that I actually forgot to say what I will be looking forward to the most so wouldn’t have qualified for the competition!
I’m also looking forward to hearing some of the speakers, seeing what those in the US are saying compared to the UK. Meeting up with a few people I haven’t seen for long time should be a laugh, esepcailly Mary Young (Aff Future).
Oh, and obviously, a party atmosphere that beats everything else and is essential for any Vegas networking event
I will be mostly looking forward to listening to that English guy Matthew Wood speaking. Awesome!
I’ll beat you to the summit! Funny how many people want to line up meetings at this event… I’m sure I’m not all of the sudden popular… must be something? call me if you are looking to chat at the summit about advertising using chitika… 866 441 7203 x 972
on another note… I’ve never been to Vegas so I’m hoping to see a show
looks like I’ll miss miss America… what other shows are awesome?
I’d get myself to the Griffin Bar and then to the Platinum Lounge…..
I’m most looking forward to meeting you Kieron. (Maybe this counts as 2 entries?)
Kieron, I also attended ASW’08, perhaps we met? I am most looking forward to another go at the CASHINATOR!!!!
Networking infront of the fountains at the Bellagio….
Should I be fortunate enough to win a pass, there are three things I’ll be looking forward to -
1) The Networking
2) Learning more about travel affiliate offers
3) The Partying.
Thanks for the opportunity.
i’m looking forward to making new atlantic connections and finding out what we can learn from them & visa-versa
1. I love the blogosphere – I started a simple website in 2004 using Frontpage and moved to a blog 2 years ago nad have built it to an email opt-in list of 2500 subscribers
2. I want to make this my living – i want to combine my love of writing with this technology. The more I learn the more i dream of the dot-com lifestyle
3. I am turning 50 next year – i want to prove to me and the rest of the world that though the dot-com world is filled with stories of 20 somethings owning the space it also is accommodating to those who dream of success and are past the age of 40.
4. I want to meet others who are doing what they love utilizing the dot-com technology. I will meet people who are passionate about their work and usually those people are the most likely to share their success.
5. I want to make Money…after working for 30 years as a professional accountant i now believe “Do what u love and the money will follow”
See u in Lost Wages….
This is going to be the first time of attending the event and I am more than excited. My site is launching in March and the timing could not be more perfect. It is a little pricey so I am really hoping I can be one of the people who gets a free pass. Should be an awesome conference, looking at the topics.
