Screw the post-it notes, just launch already

Prizes.org launches from Google. Earn money for solving problems

This weekend Google has quietly launched a new service called Prizes.org and it’s cool. Like all good ideas it’s refreshingly simple and easy to use. The idea is that you run “competitions” and offer up a cash reward to the winner. Unlike traditional competitions though they are really like asking your friends for help to a problem, then paying them. PatioHeaters.org.uk for sale

I’ve decided to offload some of my domains that I’ve been hoarding for years. You can see most of them here but I’ve chose to set Patioheaters.org.uk up on auction over at DomainLore. The starting bid is £500 and it’s set to end just before 2pm on the 24th May. Although I haven’t updated the site since early 2009 it still brings in half decent traffic, proving the power of keyword domains.
